DTS 9624 5.1 Decoding for DVD-Video High-quality 96-kHz, 24-bit (9624) sound playback from ordinary DVD Video recordings is limited to only two channels and there are also limitations on the picture. DVD-Video recorded in DTS 9624, however, allows high-quality 5.1-channel sound playback in full-quality, full-motion video. Dual SourceDual Zone Capability: The Denon AVR-2805 allows you to enjoy one audiovideo program source in a second room while another source is playing in the main room. The Zone 2 output includes a composite video output and a variable stereo pre-amp output that can send a signal to an amplifier or a set of powered speakers located in another room. If the main room is not configured for 7.1-channel surround, the Power Amp Assign function allows you to assign the two Surround Back amplifier channels to Zone 2 to drive a pair of speakers, and still provide 5 discrete amplifier channels to drive all speakers in a 5.1-chann el surround configuration. The volume of the Zone 2 output is variable, controlled by the receivers remote control. Video Up Conversion: The receivers video transcoding technology converts composite and S-Video signals to component video signals and output to the monitor.
