Big GWR 2-8-0 tank 4247 built in 1916 for the Welsh Coal traffic climbs the bank near Bicknoller on the West Somerset Railway in April 2007. 4247 languished for 19 years in Barry scrapyard in South Wales before being purchased for restoration in 1985. Its home now is on the Bodmin Wenford Railway in Cornwall where these locos also were used for China Clay traffic. Here it pays a visit to the WSR for a Spring Gala event.
